This coin is the fifth in a series of coins featuring hand-crafted Venetian glass creature created by Giuliano Donnaggio from Murano, Italy.
The coin also has colourized and engraved design elements that make for a highly collectible coin.
The reverse of the coin was designed by famed Canadian artist, Maurice Gervais.
Engraved and coloured broadleaf arrowhead flowers fill the bottom of the field, with a coloured floating log appearing beneath them.
Standing on the log is a vibrantly coloured Venetian glass turtle, it`s back in tortoiseshell and red, with green legs, tail, head and black eyes.
This beautiful proof finished coin has a limited mintage of only 12500, and all of the other Venetian glass coins sold out quickly.
